Hemadid belongs to a group of medicines called iron supplements. These medicines work by replacing iron in the body. Iron is a mineral the body needs to produce red blood cells. When the body doesn't get enough iron, or can't produce enough of the normal red blood cells needed to keep you healthy, this condition is called iron deficiency anemia. Hemadid is used to prevent and treat iron deficiency anemia.
Each coated tablet of Hemadid contains 200 mg of dried ferrous sulfate (65 mg of elemental iron),
Which works on the following:
Helps increase and maintain iron levels in the blood, while maintaining a healthy stomach and colon and reducing the chances of constipation caused by iron intake.
Supports red blood cell production
Supports metabolism, growth, development and normal cellular function.
