Fluticasone Propionate 50 micrograms Nasal Spray
What is fluticasone propionate used for?
Fluticasone propionate is used to treat the symptoms of allergic rhinitis (nasal allergies), including nasal congestion, runny or itchy nose, sneezing, watery eyes, and itchy or red eyes. It is also used to treat small polyps inside the nose when used as a nasal drop.
Do not take fluticasone propionate.
- If you are allergic to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
Warnings and precautions
Tell your doctor about all your health conditions, including:
- If you have eye problems such as glaucoma.
- If you have recently had nose surgery.
- If you have any current infection.
- If you have adrenal gland problems.
Possible side effects
Stop using this product and seek immediate medical attention if you develop a rash; itching; red, blistering, or peeling skin; tightness in the chest or throat; trouble breathing, swallowing, or speaking; unusual hoarseness; or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat. The frequency with which these side effects occur is not known.
